Propellants/ Rocket Motors
The technology offered by CEUK includes the matching of the energetic medium to the supporting hardware to achieve customer interfaces. |
CEUK is able to provide Weapon Prime Contractors with highly cost effective, clean burning, rocket motors up to 200mm diameter. For shoulder-launched weapons, the Business is able to provide both Launch and Flight Motor solutions and is well versed in understanding Insensitive Munitions requirements
|
Ignition The ignition system is designed to match the specific initiating signal available, and is tailored to produce a ballistic output which is optimised to the requirements of the energetic main charge. The electrical initiated systems can be designed to operate from currents ranging from 0.1 Amp to 5 Amps (in a 1 Amp/1 Watt no-fire configuration). In addition, Rad Haz (filtered) protection can be built in, if required. |
Main Charge Ballistics A wide range of extruded double base propellants has been developed by CEUK for use in their systems. Typical operating times are dependent on application and can vary between 20 milliseconds and 1 second with operating temperatures between -40oC to +60oC |
Hardware Integration CEUK, together with their established supporting technologists, have the capability to provide a total hardware package, including a practical approach to any Insensitive Munitions requirement. |
