Electric Detonators, L2A2
Consists of an aluminium tube with an output charge of PETN initiated with a primary charge of Aluminium/ Lead Styphnate/ Lead Azide. The electric ignition is by means of an E type Fuzehead fitted with silicone rubber plug sleeve assembly. The wires are twisted to reduce the risk of accidental initiation by stray radio frequency interference. Supplied in a black conducting plastic rigid wallet containing two detonators, ideal for field operations.

Plain Detonators, L1A2
Consists of an aluminium tube with an output charge of PETN initiated with a primary charge of Aluminium/ Lead Styphnate/ Lead Azide. Each detonator is fitted with a waterproof rubber cap and designed to be initiated with safety fuse, L1A3. Supplied in a compact, black, conducting, plastic, rigid wallet, ideal for carrying in field operations.

Detonating Cord, L5A1
Used for transmitting a detonation wave from an initiation device to a charge and between subsequent charges. It provides a means of simultaneously detonating a number of charges. Together with Detonating Cord Booster, L10A1, L1A2 and L2A2 detonators and ISFE, they form a versatile range of initiating accessories. Supplied on 70m reels with junction clips which can be used to connect branch lines for multiple charges and sealing sleeves to seal the ends when shorter lengths are used. Has a grey waterproof covering 4.8 - 5.3mm diameter.

Detonating Cord Booster, DCB, L10A1
Contains secondary explosives only so safe to handle. Designed to easily and reliably initiate a range of charges from Detonating Cord, L5A1. There is no limit to the number that may be attached to any one length of detonating cord. To maximise the effect of the charges more than one detonation point may be used by using multiple boosters. Supplied in a compact, black, conducting, plastic, rigid wallet containing two DCBs, ideal for carrying in field operations.

Fuse Instantaneous, L1A1
Consists of a semi-fuze made from glazed Kraft Paper twisted yarn coated with sulphurless, mealed powder and then wound with yarn and protected by an outer light brown polyethylene covering. The diameter is 5.2mm with a small tactile marker along its length. Supplied in 70m lengths on a metal spool and packaged in an H83 steel ammunition container.

Igniter Safety Fuse Electric, ISFE
Designed to provide a means of ignition from an electrically ignited fusehead to a pyrotechnic fuse of a specific diameter. Consists of a military E type fusehead crimped into a copper tube with a vent hole in the side. The tube has an integral stop to ensure correct fitting to safety fuze or instantaneous fuze. The wires are twisted to reduce the risk of accidental initiation by stray radio frequency interference. Supplied 100 to a steel tin and 5 tins packed into an H83 steel, aluminium container.

Safety Fuze, L1A3
Consists of a train of gunpowder enclosed in a yarn wrapped in a waterproof black outer polyethylene covering with a nominal diameter of 5.1mm. Supplied in 8m lengths coiled with a reusable rubber seal on each end, sealed in a bag. 10off coils are packaged in H83 steel ammunition container. Burns at 131 +/- 13 secs per metre. (7.5mm per second).
